Today I’m sharing a HUGE list of pajama sewing patterns for children. This includes free pdf patterns, paid pdf patterns, and physical paper ones.
Cute PJ’s are the perfect gift for christmas, birthdays, and new arrivals. They’re a practical gift idea that will actually get used.

Most of these patterns require woven fabrics like cotton and flannel, stretch fabrics, or fluffy fleece for the dressing gowns.
Fabric.com (USA) and Minerva Crafts (UK) have some of the biggest fabric ranges on the web! They’re a great place to look for pajama fabrics. I especially love their licensed character fabrics – Star Wars pajamas anyone?

Note: for UK readers, you might know these as pyjamas instead. And i’ll be talking about “pants” a lot, but I mean full-length bottoms/trousers.

- Design: It’s a long sleeve top (with a teapot motif) and full-length pants.

- How to download it: go to the pajama page, sign up, then a download link will appear on the page.
Cons:
There are no sewing instructions. To get them, the magazine suggests you buy the download version of issue 39 from www.pocketmags.com. If you already know how to make clothes, you’ll be able to figure it out yourself.
The pattern is a photocopy of a hand-drawn pattern. It isn’t as precise as digitally designed ones. They also forgot to write what size each pattern is for.
